Lucky family and lucky event
With the upcoming rework of the Lucky skill (increased spawn\queue chance) coming. I would like to ask for a temporary removal of the Lucky dragons out of circulation starting the end of Season 5 (end of the day 9/10/2022). Out of circulation meaning, have them not usable for battles and have them removed from breeding results and box openings (minting in general). With this people will be able to move forward with Season 6 without having to wait for the result of the how the lucky skill effect is reworked. This will help prevent delays of the opening of season 6 and people can actually start to move forward and get passed this issue. For those reacting on the this, this has been a long time coming, all people know the value of the current lucky skill (affecting spawn rate) right now and it is just inevitable that you will need one or a pair to really climb the ladder and duke it out with the big guns. This has always been the same even during the beta stages of the game. And there isn’t a skill like it at all, the current lucky skill (increased spawn\queue chance) is only skill that that is not felt directly or immediately inside the battlefield\arena or in the actual battle but it is actually before that, as once you see that the Lucky XL and L that you is in the queue\stack then it has produced its effect and sometime these can go on for 2-3 or even cycles\stacks, which is already a good advantage when is cycles 2 times. There will really be no way to balance this skill, its either going to be “too nerfed” / effect not seen or too OP/imba. We do not want the development team try to chase this as this is a rabbit hole that goes way farther than Alice went. It would be best to outright remove this effect and hopefully all the dragon skills from this point forward will be more constrained within the battle arena, like more damage, random damage etc… and not with affecting spawn rate. It would be in the best interest of the game to remove this as early as now as the game is fairly new and there are not a lot of people (few investors and owners) affected yet. This actually makes it easy for the dev team to mitigate the loss. In line with this, I would like to propose an event to run before Season 6 starts. An even to turn in current lucky families in exchange for a Lucky Boxes (the boxes that give out specials dragons, I don’t know if the name is coincidental or intentional) but is apt for this situation. Where a player can turn in 1 lucky family in exchange for a Lucky Box. This will help mitigate the loss of value of the Lucky dragons, as once the current lucky skill effect is removed (increased spawn\queue chance) there will certainly be a significant decrease in its value. Mostly guild owners will be affected by the loss and we do not want to affect the current owners as we do not really have a lot of investors at all (I do not think we need an exodus of investors) I can see that this is an equitable compromise (I am only speaking from my own POV). As of the moment the value of lucky boxes (when they were sold during the event) are comparable to the value of a lucky family (based on market prices). This will actually result in good burning of assets, trading 4 dragons to 1 dragon. Though having lucky L and XL is not the same as having a special dragon inversely having special dragons are not as effective also if you do not have lucky L and XL (current skill effect) as I said (comparable). At this point I am coming from an investor point of view, as when the lucky dragon effect gets reworked, I do not see it coming to the same value as affecting spawn\queue rate. To sum it up. 1. Remove lucky family from circulation starting 9/10/2022 (end of season 5) 2. Have a lucky family exchange to lucky box event 3. Start season 6 without lucky family in circulation 4. Have the dev team work on the new lucky skill without the time constraint, that way the new skill gets good testing and much thought will be put into imagining its effect.
